About Rabeea

My name is Rabeea Mubarak, and I have three years of experience teaching 11+ students across the UK. I specialise in preparing Year 5 students for Grammar School entrance examinations and supporting them throughout their 11+ preparation journey.

My primary goal as a tutor is to ensure that students feel confident and comfortable with all the subjects they are targeting. I believe in breaking down challenging concepts into simple and understandable steps so that students can grasp them with ease and build a strong academic foundation.

I also focus heavily on exposing students to a wide variety of question types across all subjects, enabling them to become familiar with different exam formats and techniques required for success in their 11+ examinations. Regular practice, structured guidance, and targeted support are key elements of my teaching approach.

One of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring for me is seeing students develop confidence and truly understand concepts that they once found difficult. Their excitement and sense of achievement motivate me to continue supporting them to the best of my ability.

I strive to build a positive and trusting relationship with every student while carefully monitoring their progress and identifying areas where they may require additional support. My aim is to bridge gaps in learning, strengthen their skills, and help them achieve their highest potential in their examinations.

About the lesson

I offer personalised and structured 11+ tuition designed to help students build confidence, strengthen core skills, and improve exam technique, with a clear focus on achieving target school placements. With almost three years of experience working closely with UK students through an established educational company, I have supported learners across a range of ability levels and exam requirements.

My teaching covers English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Creative Writing, Comprehension, and SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar). I also have strong familiarity with major 11+ exam boards, including GL Assessment, CEM, CSSE, FSCE, and CAT4, allowing me to tailor preparation to specific exam formats and expectations. Students will practise a wide range of question styles, including multiple-choice and written-response formats, timed exam papers, comprehension analysis, creative writing tasks, reasoning strategies, and past-paper practice.

Each lesson is fully tailored to the individual student based on their current ability, target schools, exam board requirements, and areas for improvement. I work closely with both students and parents to ensure consistent progress through structured lesson plans, regular feedback, targeted homework, and ongoing revision support. My aim is to provide focused, supportive, and results-driven preparation so students feel confident, well-prepared, and fully equipped for their 11+ exams.
