About Lex
Hi, I'm Lex! I recently graduated from the University of Toronto (Honors Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction) with a double major in Linguistics and Ancient Greek, and now I'm pursuing graduate school at the University of Oxford. My patience and passion make me a great teacher, and I'm positive we'll have lots to learn from each other!
My profile here is mainly focused on language-related subjects, but my knowledge can be applied to many fields! For example, I can teach:

I offer goal-driven lessons: you tell me what you'd like to learn and we'll work on it together. Whether there's a specific element of grammar eluding you, you're struggling to write cohesive essays, or you're just interested in picking up some new skills, I'm ready to help you help yourself!
My lessons can be as wide or narrow in scope as needed for your situation. Wanting to learn some Ancient Greek or principles of linguistics? I can put together a structured, personalized course for you and we can. Just looking for some help with an essay or cover letter? No problem - we'll polish it up together and you'll walk away with the skills needed to apply the same principles of writing to future projects.
I have more than ten years' experience caring for and working with children of all ages, and have previously tutored both high school students and adults in topics related to English, especially essay writing skills. I'm happy to teach people of all ages and experience levels - it's never too late to learn something new! I'm available for short- or long-term classes, in person or online, and I have a flexible schedule, so I'm positive we can find something that works for you. Questions?
