About Caleb
I am an online, upper school English teacher at an elite, global school. I have been teaching since 2016. I have two undergraduate and graduate degrees (religion and English respectively). Over the years, I have developed an extensive array of resources to aid students primarily in the areas of academic writing and critical reading. Additionally, for more than a year, I have also worked in student learning support. aiding students in executive functioning skills (time management, organization, etc.) and overcoming learning setbacks (particularly in reading and writing).

As a tutor I want to see the individual progressively developing in the skill areas that we're focused on. I'm not here to do the work for the student, but I am happy to model the skills and provide support (such as stems in English to help in the ideas stage). I am happy to assist in the completion of student homework (again, working alongside the student, not doing the work for them) but will still use supplemental materials to reinforce certain skills. My goal is to equip the student to succeed in the future, in other words, to outgrow the need for my aid.
