About Clarinda

I’m a screenwriter and director with an MFA from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, where I taught and assisted in both the graduate and undergraduate comedy programs. My short films have screened at multiple festivals, and I’ve written both short and feature-length screenplays spanning dramedy, character-driven indie, and ensemble storytelling.

About the lesson

I help writers strengthen their scripts at any stage — from shaping an early concept to refining a finished draft. Together, we can work on:

- Developing compelling characters and emotional arcs
- Strengthening structure, pacing, and scene work
- Sharpening dialogue and tone
- Preparing your script for competitions, labs, or production

Whether you’re polishing a short film for festival submission or tackling your first feature, I provide practical, industry-informed feedback in a supportive, collaborative space.

USC MFA graduate and experienced screenwriter happy to help you along your journey.
