About Laila
I have babysat ages 10 months and up, my oldest sitting client being 10 years old. I am a fast and retentive learner myself and will adapt quickly to your favored learning style so you get the most out of your lessons! I have a high grade point average of 3.3 and have passed every Regents I’ve taken. I am currently a senior in high school trying to earn for college and becoming more independent. I am available to work remotely (online) and or at a neutral meeting location (the library nearest me is the Tappan library and that’s where I’d prefer to meet). I will always be reachable and communicative.

Hi! My name is Laila (pronounced lie~la) and I am skilled in and passionate about teaching at an elementary level, I’ve done so voluntarily since I was in elementary school myself. I am a senior in high school right now. I have a lot of experience with teaching and with children, and I think partially that stems from being in a large family. My aim is to teach English to grade levels 2-6 because that’s where I would thrive, in lesson plans, to help you do the very same! I have babysat a wide variety of clients and have moved towards tutoring as a way to earn savings for college and to be more independent, my hope is to make learning engaging and positively reinforced so that it becomes a habit to further yourself and improve your skills.
