“learning a new language is not learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things” I firmly believe in this sentence, and that’s why I teach English. Learning a language can broaden a student’s horizon. They will be able to develop their society and their communication. It looks like living in a world without boundaries with lots of opportunities. Teaching is like giving someone a chance to discover a new world with lots of potential to progress.

About the lesson

The practical Humanistic Approach aligns with my teaching style. Since this approach is based on making the student feel comfortable in the learning environment, removing barriers to language learning, and respecting students' feelings as they learn a language, these three purposes are vital for language acquisition. This content makes students comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, thinking out of the box, and being confident enough to ask questions. Considering my short-term purpose, to help students acquire the fundamental concept of language and communicate in the real world, I also draw on the communicative approach. I speak effectively in the target language by using authentic materials, books with high-interest themes that have been leveled appropriately for my students, and books containing lessons that focus on all four skills. Reading, writing, listening and speaking help me reach my short-term goals.
I use different teaching techniques in my classroom depending on various circumstances. I usually use authentic materials, sequence activities, language games, information gaps, and role-plays to teach grammar, vocabulary, and all four skills ( reading, writing, listening, and speaking ). To engage students in learning and encourage them to ask questions and think out of the box, I try to use Spontaneous creative thought through dramatic interpretations, games, singing, and dancing adopting students’ ages and levels. I encourage students to ask questions about whether it is relevant or not. Asking is something that is always encouraged in my classroom.
I use activities and exercises to put students in situations where they have opportunities to communicate using the language for meaningful purposes, such as getting information. I will allow them to participate in communication activities.
