About John

I am very approachable and focus on building a positive relationship with my students which helps me to break down more complicated parts of the courses.

I am a very committed tutor who tailor makes each session for his students.

I am extremely professional and will stick to the plans that we have made and will ensure that I have the best lessons possible for you to gain my expertise from.

I am effective in communicating what a student is doing well and areas for improvement which really helps students to develop.

About the lesson

All sessions last an hour and explore a key focus area/topic within the specification, including content and exam skills. These areas will be established before and during the sessions based on conversations and feedback from exam questions.

11 years of teaching experience with a record of excellent results. 30% of my previous students received a grade 9 in History and 50% of my previous students received a grade A*-A.

2:1 in History and Politics and PGCE from the University of Leicester.
