About Alexander
My life has been a study in diverse environments, having resided everywhere from the rugged frontiers of Alaska and the rains of Seattle to the warmer climates of California, Florida, and Texas, alongside a tenure in Pennsylvania. This movement across the continent has taught me a great deal about adaptability and the human experience. When I am not engaged in the rigors of instruction, I find necessary balance through the exhilaration of snowboarding or the quiet, loyal companionship of my dog. Ultimately, however, I am driven by a singular motivation: the profound satisfaction of witnessing a student realize their potential and truly expand each's capabilities.

One must meet the student exactly where they stand, not where the curriculum assumes they should be. I have no interest in merely watching you slog through the rote monotony of online worksheets; if we need to write, we shall write, and if the mind needs to simply brainstorm or plan, then we will dedicate our energy there. My goal is your genuine improvement, not the supervision of busywork. Drawing on years of university teaching and a lifetime of private tutoring in mathematics and letters, I offer a partnership that treats learning as a human process, not a mechanical one. Plus, I earned my doctorate here in the United States at my dream school. I worked with some of the greatest minds of our time. Let me help you!
