About Holly
My name is Holly and I have always had a passion for english. I enjoy writing in my spare time and I find it to be a great outlet. I am currently studying creative literacy at Victoria University with intent to pursue writing professionally.
It was my energetic and enthusiastic educators which fostered by love for learning. I was drawn to tutoring as I hope to do the same for others.

I previously worked as a tutor at Kumon, where I gained teaching experience. I have been tutoring independently for 6 months.
I achieved every level of NCEA english with full excellence credits. I am currently studying a BArts and BCommunication conjoint at Victoria University with the intent of writing professionally.
I tutor intermediate and high school students. I teach anything from reading comprehension to essay writing and text analysis. A tutoring session is typically between one and two hours.
My teaching focuses first on building foundational knowledge. This allows for specific skillsets to later be learned with confidence. I also devote time to helping understand and craft school assignments. I provide effective lessons by paying attention to each student's personal goals and learning styles.
I have has a life long passion for english and I hope to foster the same enthusiasm and confidence within my students.
