About Daniel
Hello,
My name is Daniel.
I’ve been a VIT qualified English teacher for over 8 years, having worked as a classroom teacher for both Waverley Christian College Narre Warren South and Lighthouse Christian College Cranbourne. I am also accredited with a Master of Teaching (Secondary), a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary), as well as a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Philosophy and minor in Law. I graduated from Year 12 with 40 in Literature and English, with the highest mark in my Literature cohort for that year.
In addition, I am an active competitive writer. I was Australian Christian Teen Writer in 2012, and when I decided to take up competition writing again in 2020, I was awarded Young Australian Christian Writer for that year. Since then, I have been a judge on several competition panels, including the Young Australian Christian Writer award for 2021 and 2022.

My lessons are for both Primary and Secondary levels, and I draw much of my content from my time in the classroom. The basic structure is we look at key skills needed for persuasive and creative writing, as well as covering all of the supplementary tasks required at school, including comprehension, spelling, and verbal reasoning. There is homework given at the end of each class which I review at the beginning of each lesson.
I offer private lessons at $100 and group sessions at $40, located in Scoresby.
Trial lessons are possible, but must be paid. I cannot turn off the option for first lesson free on Superprof.
