About Amina

Hello, I am a University of Warwick graduate (BSc Hons) specialising in Biological Sciences, Medical Microbiology, and Virology.

With over 17 years of successful tutoring experience, I know exactly what it takes to help students master complex concepts and achieve success in their exams.

I specialise in:
A-Level: Biology & Chemistry

Why choose me as your tutor?
School-Tested Expertise: Having taught in classrooms for many years, I am fully confident with all current UK exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel)
Targeted Progress: I don’t just repeat a textbook. I identify the exact gaps in your understanding, remove barriers to learning, and teach proven exam techniques.
Tailored to You: Every student learns differently. I adapt my pace, visual aids, and problem-solving methods to match your unique learning style.

Whether you are looking to secure an A* or a 9, bridge a gap in your knowledge, or rebuild your confidence in science, I am here to help you succeed. Let's unlock your full potential together.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently. I design my lessons to match your unique learning style, helping you break through difficult topics and achieve top grades.

What I Teach:

GCSE / iGCSE: Biology, Chemistry, & Physics (Triple & Combined Science)
Exam Boards: Expert preparation for AQA, Edexcel, and OCR
My Teaching Approach:

Location: Available for both high-quality online lessons and interactive face-to-face sessions.

To preface, I had achieved quite low grades in my final Science GCSE mock exams. I found that Mrs Amina’s lessons were extremely helpful in helping me understand topics which I had previously really struggled with, and she is very patient and excellent at explaining things clearly and in a way that can make even very difficult topics straightforward to understand. As a result of this, I was able to achieve a much higher grade in my actual GCSEs which I was very proud of and I am extremely thankful to Mrs Amina for all of her help and cannot recommend her enough. If you too find yourself in the same position that I was, I would strongly recommend tutoring with Mrs Amina.
