About Tabatha

I have graduated from McGill University in TESL and I also have a certificate in TEFL obtained while teaching English in Italy. I have also completed my masters degree in educational psychology to enhance my strongly founded teaching skills. I have 5 years experience tutoring, and have been teaching in schools for 5 years. I have taught students from Asia, Central America, Canada, and all over Europe!

About the lesson

I want to make learning as fun as possible!

Typical lessons will always include a reward system to have students as engaged as possible. :)
Lessons can include songs at the beginning to break the ice and warm up, followed by educational games that will practice oral speaking skills, a written activity tailored to the students' interests, and finally a relaxing story to end the session on a calm and positive note which will also work students' comprehension skills.

Lessons can be for students learning English as a Second Language or for students learning to improve their English language skills even if they are a native speaker. I will create lessons that best suits their needs and level, and I will try my absolute best to create lessons that are FUN for the students. For example: one of my students loves hockey, and I created a 6-lesson plan unit all about the Stanley cup finals!
