I hold a BA (hons) in Philosophy from UBC and I am currently a graduate student at Western, in humanities. I have worked as a copy editor and editorial assistant within the arts, including publishing for small Canadian presses.

My philosophy of teaching is one that inspires students to think critically and creatively about their work. Once the structure of language can be understood (the world of grammar), the writing can come into being. I hope to teach students how to understand the shape of language, as a vehicle to express their ideas.
