About Sara

I am a college graduate and published poet of five years. The word poetry comes from the classical Greek word po'eo, which means "to do" or "to make." Poetry is about making history. Think of the greats! From Homer to Maya Angelou, the stories we'll share together through poetry will do great things.

About the lesson

I teach most often using the Socratic method. This means I'll ask you targeted questions based upon our topics of discussion and what we're reading and writing at the time. My goal is to extract from you what will be most meaningful for your work.
