About Theresa

I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a rich and diverse educational background, spanning both the sciences and healthcare leadership. My academic journey began with an undergraduate degree in Biology, followed by graduate-level studies in Biomedical Science, where I gained a deep understanding of human biology and disease mechanisms. I continued my studies with a focus on Ethics and Society, which broadened my perspective on the social, ethical, and policy dimensions of healthcare. I also pursued graduate-level coursework in Healthcare Organizational Leadership, equipping me with the skills to lead teams, manage healthcare organizations, and drive improvements in patient care. In addition to my academic achievements, I have practical, hands-on experience as a full-time Registered Nurse. I have worked extensively as a bedside clinician, providing direct patient care, and have taken on nursing leadership roles, where I’ve guided teams, mentored new nurses, and contributed to organizational improvement initiatives.
