About Courtney
Hi there, I'm Courtney!
From a young age, I've had a passion for story-telling, and a curiosity for discovering the why behind the things we do.
I grew up in Queensland and began performing at a young age at QPAC, appearing in GFO's productions of THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Gretl), ANNIE (Molly) and THE WIZARD OF OZ, working with some legends of the industry including Anthony Warlow, Rob Guest, Nancye Hayes, Lisa McCune, Bert and Patti Newton, and more.
With a passion unlocked, I have since forged a diverse career and been drawn to unique and exciting projects. I appeared in MORTIFIED (Netflix) and the short OCCUPIED which screened at Flickerfest. Stage highlights have included Red Riding Hood in SHREK (GFO), SINGIN' IN THE RAIN - IN CONCERT (QPAC & Prospero Arts), Sophie in MAMMA MIA! (Riverside Theatres), and the Australian and New Zealand premiere tour of MADIBA THE MUSICAL (The Prestige Presents).
I completed the full-time acting program at Actors Centre Australia, and also explored my passion for wellbeing by completing a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Majoring in Psychology and Counselling). I have been developing my experience as a director as well, assisting on Beauty and the Beast (HOTA), Romeo and Juliet (Sport for Jove) and The Life of Us (Hayes Theatre Company).

Along with my performing credits, I hold a valid Working With Children Check, have formally trained as a Speech and Drama Teacher through Trinity College of London, and have taught in numerous schools and performing arts colleges including ATYP and AIPA.
