About Kiara
I am currently an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher. This will be my second year in this position. I have been noticed for my timeliness in turning in lesson plans, being detail-oriented, and planning ahead to ensure pacing was accurate to help students meet a goal. I have also been recognized for teaching the whole child. While planning for instruction, I ensure personal needs of my students are met. Ensuring personal needs are met ensures the student feels safe and is prepared to learn.
