About Jen
I discovered the magic of writing in middle school when I began reading classic literature on a high school level and decided I wanted to write books like that. I have mostly tutored students on the elementary and middle school levels but I love working with all levels of writing experience.

I’ve always thought writing was a lot like dancing. Sometimes the song just isn’t right. Finding your rhythm can be challenging. However, once you find it and the music is perfect; that’s where the magic can happen.
I believe words matter. How we use them in every day life can be the difference between making and losing friends as a child, finding your confidence and self-esteem as a teenager, and getting into your dream college as a young adult. What we say matters as much as what we write and excelling at both begin with a solid foundation in language arts. I would love the chance to build upon that foundation with you, whether that be through spelling help, grammar, or essay proofreading.
