About Pratiek
I’m a Computer Science professional with an MSc in Computer Science and practical experience working with data, automation and technology.
I want to teach because I know how difficult technical subjects can feel when you’re learning them for the first time. I’ve found that concepts become much easier when they are explained clearly and then applied to realistic problems rather than simply learning theory.
I enjoy helping people build that understanding and confidence. Whether you’re completely new to SQL, Excel, Python or data analysis, studying at university, or trying to develop practical skills for your career, I’ll tailor the lessons to your level and what you want to achieve.
My aim is simple: to help you understand the subject well enough that you can solve problems yourself, not just follow someone else’s steps.

My teaching approach
I keep lessons practical and adapt them to your current level.
If you are a complete beginner, we start with the fundamentals and build from there. If you already have some experience, we can focus directly on the areas where you are struggling.
Rather than simply giving you the answer, I will explain why something works and then give you opportunities to practise it yourself.
For example, when learning SQL, we can work with a realistic dataset and gradually build queries together, rather than spending the whole lesson reading syntax from a textbook.
Lessons can also be tailored around a particular assignment, project, interview or skill you want to develop.
