About Patrice

I am Patrice Hanson. I am 21 years old, and very passionate about learning and improving my skills and hobbies. Currently, I have written three completed novels and a composition of my own spoken word poetry that are in the means of getting republished. I aspire to be a model and actress all while working on doing makeup and acrylic nails for myself in order to not only save more but also aid with getting a bachelors in my major which is criminal justice law enforcement and a minor in ancient history. I believe in the mantra “ labor for learning before you grow old for learning is better than solver or gold. Silver or gold will vanish away but a good education will never decay” and as such I am invested in making sure that the future I leave behind is filled with gems who fulfill the greatness of their destiny and I attempt to make an impact on them doing so. We cannot dream for a better tomorrow and a better economy if we fail to act and it all starts with children having a solid foundation and that is what I am offering as a former mentor.

About the lesson

I work with your child individually as to create a more stable and open environment where they can learn and be monitored with my full attention. I am versed to handle children ages 4 to 10 in spelling, reading ,phonetics, basic English vocabulary as well as their French and Spanish alternatives if so desired. I am Jamaican and so I have been told that education is the key to success, as such as an international college freshman reading for a degree in criminal justice I am flexible in my hours as I tutor to help my ailing single mother find my education. English and English literature has always been my strong suit alongside history, sociology and the humanities subjects. In having me as a tutu or your child not only gets diversity and fun ways of learning but also a guaranteed mentor dedicated to seeing them reach their full potential as all children are destined for greatnes. As a past prefect, mentor, big sister, caretaker ,library intern and babysitter I have learnt how to deal with the emotions of children and have used methods that are both fun and interactive.
