About China ray
I'm a recent graduate of UC Davis, I have a B.S. in Environmental Science and Management as well as Professional Writing. I've worked extensively with student newspapers and for student tutoring centers. My formal background is in journalism and non-fiction writing, and I enjoy writing my own creative non-fiction pieces on the side! Whatever project or assignment you are hoping to tackle, I would love to tackle it with you. I believe that good writing is good story telling, and everyone has a story to tell.

I'm hoping to break down the writing process into manageable pieces for those who struggle with the brainstorming, writing and editing process. My lesson plans involve talking through ideas, as well as short lessons on concepts like thesis development and sentence structure. I believe good and concise writing is largely editing and organizing ideas, on top of adding personal flair. This process can be broken down to its most basic components, and made accessible to anyone. I hope to encourage those who feel like they're "not writers" to produce pieces they're proud of and apply their writing skills to all areas of their lives.
