About Rebecca
I love providing students with feedback on their academic essays or creative writing, giving them advice for how to revise their work by thinking critically about their writing skills. I hold a master's degree in creative writing from Southern Connecticut State University, where I taught freshman composition in the English Department, and a bachelor's degree in English from Eastern Connecticut State University. I have 10 years of experience working directly with students. Let's make your writing great together!

English
My lessons are generally geared toward undergraduate and graduate students but I also have experience teaching high school students. My method involves recognizing student strengths and weaknesses and guiding them to revise their work using critical thinking skills. I believe in the theory that writing is a process that includes prewriting, drafting, and rewriting.
