About Thomasin
The most important aspect of tutoring to me is that my students enjoy learning. I am always looking to tailor my teaching to my student’s needs and find out how they learn most successfully, discovering the best methods and strategies for each individual student.

I am a current Senior at Yale University majoring in History and Film & Media Studies with a concentration in Screenwriting. I have 5 years of experience teaching students ranging from elementary to high school. I can tutor grammar, spelling, reading comprehension, and writing (both essay writing and creative writing) for students in grades 1-12. I can also tutor SAT Reading, Writing, and Language; AP English Language and Composition; and AP English Literature and Composition. Additionally I can edit college application essays and help students brainstorm ideas to write about. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for inquiries into other English sub-specialties for tutoring.
