When developing a philosophy with respect to any occupation, it is important to have a high level of respect for the position and/or profession. Respect means showing regard for the worth of someone or something. Those words cannot be understated in education. I believe an educator must be passionate, poised, prepared, persistent, professional, and willing to show some personality. My philosophy is predicated on these beliefs and has served me well as an educator.
