About Amanda
I have been teaching students for 20 years of all ages and cultural backgrounds. I have helped students with learning difficulties and personal struggles. I am confident in helping my students learn strategies that will help them overcome challenges in reading and writing for a lifetime. After all, I was a struggling reader in my early years and I learned how to overcome my challenges as well.

Many of my students have grown exponentially over time through my thorough explanation and breakdown of topics and skills. I help my students build the confidence needed to meet expectations and beyond for independent reading and writing. I also help students who are learning English as their second language.
