About Maya
Hi, I’m Maya and I’m 18. I just graduated high school and I’m now planning to attend a Cal State this year. I’ve read dozens of books to this point and familiarized myself with classic literature as well as more recent works. I’m a pretty fast reader and a decent speaker, but I’m more skilled at writing. Taking 2 AP English Literature courses in high school, we focused most on extracting meaning from text. Essay writing has always been a talent of mine and I hope to share that with students.

Having just graduated high school, I know what helps students learn best. I believe in taking things slow so students have time to digest knowledge. We’ll take things step by step as well as repeat to ensure they’ve mastered the skill. I’ll help students learn in a way that is helpful not only for passing classes, but in the long run.
