About Georgie

Growing up, I found that the only thing I truly wanted was to learn. Despite finding being in a school environment challenging, I was able to work with tutors at home to keep my academics on track. I found that school lessons at Primary were often difficult to navigate, particularly as my main issue has always been confidence, so tutoring was the best thing for me. I'm so passionate about helping other children in a similar position to me, and helping them develop their confidence and love for learning. I achieved grades 7-9 at GCSE, and am predicted A*AA in my A-Levels, ultimately hoping to pursue a career in Law. I would like to help younger children achieve their goals, as none of my achievements would have been possible without 1-1 support and people encouraging me to form goals.

About the lesson

I am offering either 45 minute lessons as a standard, or 60 minute session with a 5 minute break at the 30 min mark for children with additional needs (such as ADHD). Please note the first session must be 60 minutes so I can get to know you and your child in a non-pressured environment. My main objective through lessons is to build confidence and passion for English through creating a personalised plan with both short and long term goals for your child, where we work to an achievable grade or standard. I can work with children studying from a SAT level to GCSE, and am happy to work with children of all levels.
Virtual lessons are preferable, but for those local I would consider travelling if that will be the best method for your child.
