About Leslie
I have taught English for grades 6-12, been a certified librarian and dean in all grades K-12, and I am currently a STEM teacher in Colorado. I am also certified to be a principal in Colorado and I hope to become one someday! I have helped my students stay in school to graduate from high school, learn research and reasoning skills, and helped them figure out how to find credible and reliable sources.

I teach my classes based on the Responsive Classroom model, which means building positive relationships with students is a top priority. I use love and logic as a problem-solving method both individually and classroom-wide and I believe in restorative practices as a way for students to learn social-emotional skills, both electronically and face-to-face.
