About Cerys
You will leave your first session with a clear understanding of the fretboard. Playing with confidence is the most striking result I aim to achieve with you.
I use my B.M. from Concordia to explain music theory in ways that absolute beginners can grasp. Kids and teens will find my approach direct and focused on the songs they actually want to play.
We spend time on strumming patterns and soloing techniques during our time together. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level and build a roadmap for your growth.

The sound of a perfectly ringing barre chord still excites me after 13 years of practice. I earned my B.M. in Guitar at Concordia University to formalize my understanding of the craft.
My teaching style draws from 260 students I have successfully coached over the decades. I cover essential skills like improvisation, ear training, and reading tabs to make sure you have a solid foundation. My personal narrative as a songwriter informs how I break down complex rhythm guitar patterns. Seeing a student finally master a difficult transition is the most enjoyable part of my day.
