I typically follow a gradual release of responsibility method with tutoring. This is a "I do, we do, you do" method. This supports students in the acquisition of new knowledge and helps us identify areas of support needed. A lesson will vary by age and subject being taught. Typically, we would like to spend an hour together focused on a specific skill or subject.
