For me, a quick warm-up is a must! I always like to start with something that we do repeatedly to get the juices flowing and the brain working. From there, I like to give the goals for the lesson and what we are trying to accomplish. Then the main lesson, focused on hands-on, scaffolding, and modeling, to ensure we are successful. I always love to end with a simple activity, so the student gains confidence and leaves with the mentality that they did a great job!
