About Dana

I am originally from New Zealand & have been living in London for the past 14 years. I have been teaching for 20 years. Outside of work, I love boxing, cross training & country walks. I volunteer every Sunday at a charity shop, organising the book section & serving customers.

About the lesson

I am a fully qualified & experienced teacher of over 20 years. I have spent 14 years preparing pupils for the 11+ & 13+ for top schools such as Highgate, Westminster, NLCS, St Paul’s (boys & girls), City (boys & girls), Latymer Upper, South Hampstead etc. I have prepared boys for the Westminster challenge, with my latest pupil gaining an A* in his English exam.
I can prepare pupils for written, hybrid & computerised exams.
During the day, I work at a top London prep school. I am head of year 6, future schools coordinator & head of critical thinking (verbal & non-verbal reasoning). I am in charge of guiding parents in the direction of the right schools for their child as well as ensuring that our pupils are thoroughly prepared for the exams that they will be taking. I have successfully guided over 100 families on their future schools journey.
My pupils enjoy my gentle yet firm teaching style. I challenge my pupils & ensure that they achieving to the best of their ability.
