"Spanish is my native language and music is the landscape where I live. I admit that I often find it hard to explain the feeling of a perfect blues progression without picking up my instrument to demonstrate it. My training includes a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura from Argentina. These credentials form the bedrock for how I guide advanced learners, intermediate students, kids, and absolute beginners.
I enjoy helping grade exam candidates find their own voice among the technical demands of their pieces. Whether we are exploring complex scales and modes or perfecting the grip on tricky barre chords, the focus remains on the rhythm. You might find me working on ear training with a student who wants to play folk music. It is just about getting the groove right."
