About Shanon
Fluency is often less about memorizing grammar rules and more about understanding the rhythm of a culture. My 8 years of experience teaching across the US and Latin America has shown me that true proficiency requires more than just vocabulary lists.
I focus on pronunciation, accent reduction, and the complexities of academic writing for those navigating professional or scholastic environments. As someone who has lived a dual life between Bogotá and the US, I understand the challenges of finding one's voice in a new tongue. Whether we are analyzing literature or practicing for an IELTS exam, I aim to provide a clear path forward.
I have helped 331 students refine their English through poetry, prose, and daily conversation. It has been a rewarding journey to witness these transformations firsthand.
