About Shawna

Arithmetic fluency, coordinate plane work and basic algebra skills are the cornerstones of the support I provide to you. You might arrive convinced you are not a math person, but my work as a graduate of the University of Southern California reveals that you are simply missing the right explanations. I have helped 500 students from middle school to college bridge these gaps over the past 10 years.

My role is to help honors students and homeschoolers alike navigate challenging word problems with steady confidence. Most learners who struggle with math eventually find that these concepts become manageable with a methodical approach.

It is genuinely satisfying to watch a student dismantle a complex percentage calculation. Helping someone see the logic behind a measurement or a graph remains the most rewarding part of my career. I truly enjoy turning confusion into clarity for every learner.

About the lesson
