About Lizelle

I am a dedicated and passionate 32 year old South African female. I am a language educator with a diverse background in teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). My enthusiasm for teaching derives from my own experiences, living and working in various primary schools and ECD centers within South Africa, this has broadened my perceptive and given me a deeper appreciation for different cultures and languages. I hold a TEFL certification, which has equipped me with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively teach English to non-native speakers. 1. skills and Qualifications TEFL Certification: I am a certified TEFL instructor, having completed a 120-hours TEFL course that covered key areas such as lesson planning and classroom management. 2. Creative lesson planning: I am skilled in designing creative and interactive lessons that cater to different leaning styles and keep students motivated and engaged. Assessment and Feedback: I have experienced Evaluating Students progress through various assessment methods and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

About the lesson

My teaching experience at various Primary schools, coupled with a 120-hour TEFL certification and ECD level 4-6 experience has equipped me with the essential pedagogical skills to deliver English lessons. My TEFL coursework covered key areas such as language acquisition theory, lesson planning, and classroom management, which I have applied effectively in teaching environment. I have enjoyed teaching students of diverse ages. I developed engaging lesson plans that incorporated activities which encouraged interaction, multimedia resources and practical exercises to facilitate language learning. I enjoyed an approach which is student-centered, focusing on interaction and communication methods which foster student engagement and language retention. I have a track record of helping students improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and this has been one of the most rewarding parts of my job as a teacher- being able to witness my students' progress and growing confidence in their language abilities.
