About Colleen
I hold an Associates Degree in Elementary Education from Central Piedmont Community College with a special focus on teaching English as a second language and working with special education students. I'm also certified to teach English online through International Open Academy, and have worked both online and in the classroom helping people to improve their English. I'm ready to help meet you at whatever level you may be at to start learning faster and feeling more confidence in your English speaking abilities!

Whether you are just starting out, or looking to quickly move your speaking skills from intermediate to advanced, I have over 10 years experience helping people learn and understand English. I have worked with students from all over the world demonstrating different fluency levels and my methods for success include consistency, compassion, and a deeper understanding of English from a native speaker's perspective. I can help with test prep, daily conversation, or digging into more advanced lessons on phonetics, linguistics, and modern English.
