I like to get to know students' interests outside of school, especially in the summer when it can be hard to motivate students to do their best, and adapt my lessons to reach them in ways that keep them interested.

About the lesson

Make them as engaging as possible with the students interests first and foremost. Let them know what to expect at the beginning of the lesson. Walk them through the lesson before you assess them at the end. I always like to review.
