About Thomas

Born in England, I am a native English speaker. I have travelled throughout Europe, so I know how hard it can be to master a second language, and how stressful it can be speaking with a native! That's why I want to take a patient, kind approach with you while teaching, so that you feel encouraged, confident and ready to use the language as you see fit! :)

About the lesson

My teaching methods will work best for those who already have a working knowledge of English. If you're hoping to study in an English-speaking country, or you need a firm mastery of English for your career, let me improve your confidence by showing you how to speak like a native. I am willing to tailor my lessons to your learning needs by adapting the length and substance of my lessons. Primarily lessons will consist of open conversations centred around a topic of your choosing, though I'm happy to give suggestions as needed. I will look to complement this conversational approach with various learning exercises and tasks which will align with your language learning goals - whether this is asking you to write a business email for review, make a blog post or draft an essay. Let's build a lesson plan that works together! Born in England, English is my native language. I have excelled in an academic environment, studying law and criminology at the University of Lincoln, so you can trust that our lessons will take you to the next level! I have a TEFL teaching credential, so I am aware of various teaching techniques. Most importantly though, I am a strong believer in learning through fun! Let's enjoy our lessons, get to know each other, and make you a fluent speaker, so you can impress all your friends!
