About Indira

I am a self-taught artist and art mentor whose creative journey began as a deeply personal path of self-discovery and growth. Along the way, I have learned from renowned artists across the world, studying watercolour, portrait painting, oil painting, and landscapes, while also exploring India's rich traditional art forms such as Pichwai and Tanjore. I work across all mediums and take on commission paintings in landscapes, florals, portraits, and animals. Teaching is something I find deeply fulfilling. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing the pride in my students' eyes when they hold their very own finished work for the first time. Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or looking to grow further as an artist, I would love to be part of your journey.

About the lesson

Whether you have never picked up a brush or are looking to refine your skills, these classes are designed for anyone above 10 who has a curiosity for art. You will learn to mix colours, work with different brushes and tools, understand your unique art style, and draw what you see with growing confidence. More than just techniques, you will discover what you want to express through your art and develop the skills to create work you are truly proud of. If you are ready to grow as an artist in a supportive and encouraging environment, this class is for you.

Perfect! One can watch videos and more videos on YouTube to understand various aspects of drawing and painting and feel completely overwhelmed.
True learning happens when you have a teacher like Indira who puts things in perspective, who's able to not just subtly point out to you what's missing or what needs to be developed in your approach to painting , but also helps you in putting those perspectives in action to create lovely pieces of art to give you a feel of accomplishment.
Its been a great pleasure to engage with my teacher Indira not just in advancing my art journey but also in sharing and exchanging our world views .
Needless to add Indira is a versatile artist and a wonderful teacher and I'm so happy I found her.

She is an enthusiastic and attentive learner who grasps new concepts quickly.
