About Leonardo
I’m a UC Berkeley graduate with a background in Human Biology, and I enjoy helping students feel more confident in science. I’m patient, approachable, and easy to work with, and I always adapt my tutoring style to how each student learns best.
I believe learning should feel clear and manageable, not stressful. My goal is to create a supportive, relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving step by step.

My lessons are focused on helping students truly understand biology and chemistry rather than relying on memorization. As a UC Berkeley Human Biology graduate, I break down complex topics into simple, visual explanations that make challenging material feel manageable and intuitive.
A typical lesson starts by identifying what the student finds confusing, followed by clear explanations, diagrams, and guided practice problems. I adapt each session to the student’s learning style, pace, and academic goals.
My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and early college students taking biology, chemistry, or health-related courses. I am patient, structured, and committed to building both confidence and long-term understanding.
