About Ella

Hi! I’m Ella, a responsible and dedicated tutor with a strong academic background and experience working with young students. As someone who learned English as a second language after moving to the U.S. in 2nd grade, I bring both personal understanding and patience to every lesson.
I am reliable, organized, and committed to helping each student feel confident and supported. I take pride in clear communication with both students and parents, and I always come prepared with structured, engaging lessons.
My goal is not only to help students improve their English skills, but also to build their confidence in school and everyday communication.

About the lesson

I understand the challenges bilingual students face. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on building both skills and confidence.
I use a mix of structured practice and interactive activities, including reading, writing, and speaking exercises. A typical lesson includes a quick review, skill-focused practice, and a fun activity to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my firsthand ESL experience and my ability to explain concepts in a way that feels clear and relatable. I create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving.
My lessons are best for elementary and middle school students, especially bilingual or ESL learners who want to strengthen their English skills.
