About Alessandro
Film director, screenwriter, teacher, polyglot, I assist professionals from all sectors in preparing their presentations in English, in optimizing their bilingual communication strategy or simply in improving their ability to express and convince in English.
During my 20 years of experience as a film director and teacher, I have understood that what sometimes hinders some people from expressing themselves freely in front of a camera in English is not a lack of mastery of the language, but a lack of confidence and exercise.
The good news is that both obstacles can be easily overcome with the right approach. Moreover, I am convinced that learning a language should not be a painful experience. In order to keep the process fun and fruitful, I usually organize my work sessions around your areas of interest: cinema, music, travel, etc., or your immediate objective: presentation, pitch, interview.

You are quite comfortable in your native language, you have already made many remarkable presentations, but when it comes to doing the same thing in English, everything seems more complicated. Nonetheless, you master English, and in the evening, among friends, you participate in conversations without difficulty.
My simple approach, tried and tested many times, consists of systematically integrating a playful dimension into the exercises. Numerous studies have proven that learning is faster and more solid when we combine work and play. Thus, our sessions will take place around role plays, conversations on your favorite topics, filmed interviews, always in a positive spirit, without judgment.
All exercises are accompanied by filmed role-playing situations, which will afterwards be the subject of a detailed analysis of the diction, intonation, non-verbal language. Thus, the points for improvement are quickly identified and tailor-made exercises are developed immediately for each.
