About Vicky
I am a Neuroscience PhD Scholar at IIT Kharagpur, specializing in advanced biological sciences with a strong focus on how complex systems in the human body function and interact.
My academic journey reflects a deep and consistent engagement with biology at both theoretical and research levels:
PhD (Neuroscience) – IIT Kharagpur (ongoing)
M.Sc. in Biochemistry – Banaras Hindu University
B.Sc. in Life Sciences – Presidency University
In addition, I have qualified multiple national-level competitive examinations, including:
CSIR-UGC NET (research eligibility)
GATE
DBT-JRF (BET)
These qualifications demonstrate a strong command over core subjects such as cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, and biochemistry.

If you feel like:
You study biology but forget everything during exams
There’s too much to memorize
You understand concepts but can’t apply them in tests
The issue is not your effort — it’s the method.
I help students transform biology into a clear, structured, and high-scoring subject, especially for AP Biology, high school coursework, and pre-med preparation.
|| My Teaching Approach ||
1. Concept-First Learning: Understand why processes happen — not just memorize
2. System-Based Biology: Learn connections across topics (genetics, physiology, molecular biology)
3. Visual Memory Techniques: Diagrams, flowcharts, and structured frameworks
4. AP Biology Strategy: Master MCQs, FRQs, and application-based questions
5. Active Recall + Spaced Repetition: Scientifically proven methods for long-term retention
|| Who This Is For ||
a. High school students (Grades 8–12)
b. AP Biology students aiming for 4–5 scores
c. Students struggling with memorization or exam performance
d. Pre-med students building strong biology foundations
e. Parents looking for serious academic improvement
|| Results You Can Expect ||
1. Clear understanding within the first few sessions
2. Improved test scores and accuracy
3. Stronger performance in AP-style questions
4. Ability to revise large topics efficiently
5. Many students see 1–2 grade improvements with consistent sessions.
|| Lesson Structure ||
1. Rapid revision (previous topics)
2. Step-by-step concept breakdown
3. Diagram-based explanation
4. AP-level practice (MCQs + FRQs)
5. Doubt-solving + recap
6. Weekly progress tracking + personalized strategy

I needed help with MATLAB for epidemiological modeling, and I was honestly overwhelmed with the complexity of it.
My daughter was struggling a lot with biology, especially topics like genetics and cell division, which she found very confusing.
Swarnayan worked with me on pitch accuracy, breathing, and expression in a way that felt very natural—not intimidating at all—and he gave very practical corrections I could apply immediately.
