About Yaseen
I recently graduated from Cambridge with a 2.1 in Classics, after studying at Highgate School where I took Latin, Classical Civilisation, English Literature, and French for A-Level.
While I primarily focussed on Latin during my degree, I have always had a great interest in literature and languages beyond just the Classical, and received a First in my final year university paper which dealt with both modern and ancient literature in a variety of languages.
As someone who was required to learn Ancient Greek from scratch at university, I benefitted hugely from the one-on-one teaching system at Cambridge. I hope that I can pass this experience on, focussing on the individual needs of students, particularly in regards to the learning of languages.

I am a friendly and patient tutor for students up to GCSE. For French and Latin, I help students understand the logic behind the grammar and vocabulary so that they internalise how the language works. My strong experience with Classical and modern literature and history at university and beyond means I have a wide range of knowledge to help with Latin and English Literature, and Classical Civilisation.
