About Theo
I am a 2nd year Classicist at University of Cambridge. I took part in a tutoring scheme at my secondary school, helping GCSE students to reach their full potential. I have been studying Latin and Ancient Greek for over ten years now. I achieved 44 points at IB, with 7s in Latin HL, Greek HL and English HL.

I am able to tutor Latin, Greek and English Literature - anywhere from primary school to IB or A-level!
I will first ascertain the specific areas where the students wishes to improve. It is important to determine how best the student learns and retains information: whether that be, for example, via flashbacks, oral discussion or visual diagrams. I will then work with their learning style to teach the content while also providing key tips and tricks which I have learned over my education.
If the student wishes to improve their translation or essay-writing skills, I will provide exam-style answers. I will then work with the student to ensure that they can reach this quality within their own work. If the student wishes to improve their analytical skills, I will work with the student on ways to think more creatively about texts, while also adhering to their syllabus.
I try to encourage students to discover their passion within that subject and channel it into their studies. I will work within the syllabus, but help the student find their own critical voice so that they can achieve that very top grade.
