About the lesson
I've worked with elementary, middle, and high school level students, and tend to evaluate my students' existing writing processes first and foremost. I aim to understand every students' approach to both reading and writing, so we can then retread (or even unlearn) lessons that might've been misinterpreted in the classroom. Once I feel we've reached a proficiency baseline, work can begin on teaching students new techniques, walking through assigned reading and writing, and breaking away from rigid concepts from past years.

About Gabriel
I've been tutoring for about four years, beginning my sophomore year of high school, and have taught around a dozen students since then. With steady effort and patience, I've consistently improved students' grades and reading/writing comprehension. I've been in advanced placement English since middle school, passed both AP Language & Composition (for which I earned a 5 on my training exam) and IB Literature in high school, and have most recently completed Honors English II at Saddleback College.
