About Sara

I am a sophomore at Columbia University studying Mechanical Engineering with a 3.85 GPA, and graduated high school at the Alabama School of Math and Science, a boarding school in Mobile, AL. I've taken all my high school English and Reading classes and got all A's and received a perfect 36 in Reading ACT on two separate testing occasions. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, and I am known for being able to explain concepts well and will do various approaches in making sure that a student understands their content.

About the lesson

- I will take a creative and holistic approach in teaching you or your child; will explain concepts to their bare simplicity to ensure a deep level understanding
- I usually begin by assessing my student's current understanding of a topic, then target the weaker points.
- Lessons can be for anyone who would like clearer understanding over reading and English concepts in middle school or early high school. Students can also get patient repetition until they get their concept correct.
