About Christina

Hi! :-) I am 21 years old and study English and geography to become a teacher in Münster. It wasn't long ago that I started school, which is why I can still empathize with everyday school life. In 2018 I graduated from high school and had English as a LK, as well as geography in English as a third subject. For me, English is the most beautiful language. I especially learned to love her after leaving school. And that actually came less through school or university, but more through my interest in English books, films and series and my time in England, through which I was able to get to know very nice people through English. I will do my best to convey that enthusiasm to you and help you speak and write solid English.

About the lesson

At the beginning I would like to emphasize what is particularly important to me about tutoring. Personally, I always learned particularly well when the lessons were varied and exciting, were accordingly fun and I got along well with the teacher. I would also like to implement these things for my tutoring lessons. Furthermore, expectations of each other and goals should be clarified in the first lesson. It is important to build on the student's language level. When strengths and weaknesses have been clarified, I prepare a part of the exercise for each lesson in which the things that are difficult for the child, such as vocabulary, grammar, spelling, speaking, listening comprehension, etc. can be repeated playfully or in a varied way for older pupils. In the other half of an hour, I orient myself together with the student on current English lessons and practice formats such as analyzes, summaries, evaluations and mediations in the upper level. In the lower level, other things, such as new tenses, dialogues, directions, etc. are practiced.
