About Julia
I am an educator with five years of experience teaching reading and writing (and a bit of math!) I have my Master's Degree in Education, and I am committed to being an educator that uplifts and supports my students. I have always put effort into making my classroom a positive and safe environment-no question is a bad question. My expectations for students is that they try their best and be open to challenge. My job is to provide you with the support and guidance to achieve those challenges.

As an educator, I love making lessons approachable and relatable. I include models, guided practice, and independent practice to ensure each student has a full understanding of the content. I am always open to adjusting a lesson plan based on a student's interests or needs- the lesson is about the student! I have experience teaching various levels, and I am committed to providing the support and resources necessary for a student to succeed.
